Formed in 2004, OPEN is a three-piece Dutch alternative rock band,
combining energy, power and melodies of many different genres.
OPEN likes to listen to bands such as QOTSA, Muse, Nada Surf,
Placebo, Tool, Sebadoh, Foo Fighters and dEUS.
Influenced by these bands, OPEN combines delicate rock sounds and refreshing new ideas, resulting in music that comes from the heart and soul.
OPEN recorded their first, self-titled EP in the beginning of 2005.
A Gin-session was recorded in January 2006, which resulted into
a live demo CD. They found a friend and companion in Squash Records
who released these records.
Their third piece of work (take-3) is delivered early this year.
